Big Dirty?
September 5th, 2009Well-here is what Jordi wrote- he is right the Fraser is Big and Dirty.
Great day on the big dirty
Mark and Eiden Conners, and Cameron and Nicholas Mein had a great day
on the Fraser .They started with chinook fishing, and landed a 25,
and 18 pound Chinook, and switched to sturgeon, and landed a 5'4",
and a 6' within 1/2 an hour! great day, and a return trip is planned
for next year!
Jord
I still have availabity for the upcoming fall season. Call and we will see what kind of trip we can arrange for you. The possibilities are nearly endless seeing as all 5 species of Salmon are entering the river this year!
Pinks, Sockeye, Coho, Chum, and Chinook. Sturgeon fishing has been nothing shy of awesome lately so it should be a fabulous season ahead. I have some very limited fly fishing dates for Pinks coming up here after the long weekend. If you want to figure out how to use your fly rod, come out and give it a shot!
Thanks

Speechless...
September 3rd, 2009Today (Thursday) is my Monday, therefore if you plan on calling me to ask how the fiahing is, PLEASE just look below- It's pretty much self-explanatory! It'll save me some energy to get through the week!

yeah, thats right...
August 28th, 2009This is from last week, or maybe it counts as two weeks ago now seeing as we are coming into the weekend.
Hi Ria
Our trip was frick'in awesome not only did the boys get me my 7' sturgeon but they did it 4 times and they crushed the 7' mark with a 8'5'' and a 9'6'' sturgeon a new bar has been set and it won't be easy but I can't wait to get back out and give it a shot. Thanks for all you help with the camp sites and dog kennels every thing worked out great!
Thanks
Tony

Sturgeon fishing is great, we have been seeing more frequent Chinook Salmon runs in, but you still need to be on the right bar at the right time, we been getting into them more so that feels good! The Pinks are here so I would suggest bring ing out the family for that one. We have been seeing some MEGA FISH on Pink Salmon parts so come out a jig for a bit and then sit back to catch the mighty sturgeon!
Thanks,
Ria
HE-MAN Erik
August 21st, 2009Normally I refuse to put no-shirt pictures on the blog, but one of our guides- Erik has obviously been working hard wrestling massive sturgeon and big Salmon on the Upper Pitt River to make some *big* muscles!
Book your guided Sturgeon Fishing Trip and maybe you'll end up with big mucscles like this Hunk!
Try it- Sturgeon fight like crazy- one of the BEST fresh water game fish out there! See if our workout plan will work for you!
Happy Viewing and have an excellent weekend!
Thanks,

Excellent Fishing!
August 20th, 2009We have had a phenomenal week for fishing both Salmon and Sturgeon!
3 Chinook were caught on one boat on Tuesday! We caught a 9 and a half foot Sturgeon yesterday! Season record so far (congrats Tony!)
Below are some lovely pictures from a trip we did a couple of weeks ago- the woman has been fishing in The Queen Charlottes, Alaska, and Hawaii and she said we were the best charter she had ever experienced! (Thanks Irene!). Her 10 year old son Brandon landed a 7 foot 4 Sturgeon (a Virgin!) as their biggest fish out of 6 in total!
Yves 15 minutes of TV fame with West Coast Adventures TV will be re-aired on PBS Sunday Night at 6:30pm for those of you who have missed the last few viewings!

ON FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 7th, 2009It's a little bit Hazy all over the lower mainland because of the Lilooet fires. The Upper Pitt is very hazy right now as you can see by the pictures! I threw in a nice sturgeon pic seeing as fishing is perfect in the cooler weather we have been having!
The helicopter shots are pretty cool! The fish shots are even more exciting though!

Trout...
August 6th, 2009The trout fishing on the tributaries of the Fraser has actually been phenomenal! If you are interested in fly fishing some rainbow trout call us! It is perfect conditions for fishing and loads of fun!
Still no word on a Sockeye opening, but I will keep reporting on here.
Only a few more weeks until Pink Salmon start running, which I am very excited to get out on the river for! We have been seeing higher numbers of sockeye in the test fishery so keep your fingers crossed!
Sturgeon fishing is wonderful, as usual! Come out and tag some!
We have some individual spots open for the Sturgeon Conservation Society Derby on October 30th. Call me if you are interested- the prizes are awesome- cash, a trip to Langara fishing lodge, tv's, etc. and it's a great time!
I still have some shared trips too if you can't get a group together for September!
Thanks,
Ria
