adrenaline rush of every fish caught. He is
eager to help people catch a fish and to watch
their excitement when they land a fish. Spending
a day fishing with Mike will be an
extraordinary experience for you.
Paul Neufeld -
Paul is a
fish monger. The fishiest of the fishy, he loves
it, he can't get enough. He is back on the BCSFG
team almost "full time" for the summer months and the
rest of the year you will find him behind a desk
at school trying to learn as much as he can
about fish! He is currently taking time off from being a full
time fishing guide to work only weekends for BCSFG. He wants a career to do with fish but he
wants to make a difference and hopefully, will
one day end up on the "inside" helping the
Ministry of Environment to properly manage and
allocate fish resources.
Paul's years of experience have helped him to
perfect his "fish dance". This combination of
guttural sounds emitted from the throat and
jerky leg and arm movements are sure to help you
find a fish on the end of your line!
Tyler Buck -
Born
and raised in Chilliwack, Tyler at a young age

he guides in the Queen Charlotte Islands, the
rest of the year he guides for the BCSFG
on a part time basis where he
can show off his fly fishing skills. The rest of
the year Eric is a firefighter for the Richmond
Fire Department.
Eric loves being out on the water and meeting
new people. The more

Eric loves to fish. We are
proud to have Eric in our team and are sure that
you will spend an unforgettable day on the
water.

water. His funny and easy going nature loaded
with a lot of patience makes Pat a very pleasant
fishing guide.
Lucas Books-
Lucas
has been fishing pretty much
since birth! He has traveled throughout British
Columbia following his passion for sport fishing
of all types. He is as comfortable fly fishing a
lake as he is landing a 9 foot Sturgeon. Lucas
spent much of his last 10 years guiding for
Langara Fishing Lodge but has just recently
accepted a full time job as a fire fighter.
Lucas has been a part time guide for BC Sport
Fishing Group since 2008 and fits in very well

Josh Reimer-
We
know Josh as a very easy going and passionate
fishing guide. He joined BCSFG in 2008 and
has been a great asset to the team from day 1. When he was a child, he was taken out to fish
almost every weekend by a family friend. Thanks
to this friend, Josh developed and improved his
fishing skills with every fish hooked.
Josh and his family, wife Cara, son Isaac, along
with the newest member of the family a beautiful
daughter, live in Abbotsford. Josh spends as
much time as he can with his family and loves
taking them out to fish or to explore beautiful
British Columbia.
Josh is an exceptional angling guide and will
show you our many fishing spots in the Fraser
Valley. You should not miss the opportunity to
fish with the dedicated Josh Reimer.
Shane Schaap-
Shane has been fishing since he's been able to
hold a fishing rod. His love of the great outdoors was instilled in him as a child as his family went on
many British Columbia adventures. The sport grew
and grew as the competition grew with his closest friends. As an
adult, this has led to a addictive passion for angling. The combination of Shane's outgoing
personality and knowledge of the sport make him
a top notch guide whose
passion is evident in everything he does on the
river. "I am very happy to
belong to an established, professional and well
rounded company like
BCSFG".
Matthew Schaap -
Matthew grew up in the Lower Mainland and now lives in
Langley with his family. He has been married for
10 years and has two boys, William and Jeffrey.
Matt loves to spend his spare time fishing and
hunting as well as taking his family on day
trips with his jet boat.
Matt joined BCSFG in August
2008. He has been fishing the waters of
beautiful British Columbia for as long as he can
remember and gained a lot of
fishing experience fishing the Queen
Charlotte Islands, Mexico, all over the West
Coast of Canada as well as fly fishing in
Alaska. With Matt we have another exceptional
guide on board who loves fly fishing, bar
fishing and sturgeon fishing in the Fraser
Canyon.
Matt's expert knowledge and calm personality
make clients feel relaxed and at ease as they
strive to catch 'the big one'.
Darrell Armstrong-
Darrell joined our team in the fall of 2008. He
has been fishing alongside Fred Helmer and
several of our guides for many years and
finally made the commitment to becoming a guide.
Darrell resides in Abbotsford and works
full-time as a Sales Manager for Kal-Tire. You
can catch him out on the water almost every day
after work and on weekends. If he isn't on the
water then it's probably Elk and Moose season
and you will find him up North looking to fill
his freezer!
Darrell is a great outdoorsman and fisherman. He
will tell you like it is, and when he's done
doing so (or at least mid-story), you'll
probably find a fish on the end of your line, or
you'll be too busy laughing to notice the bite!
